The South Shore Children’s Museum invites you to become a SSCM Presidential Sponsor, and to help us become a premiere children’s destination on the South Shore. For the past six years we have brought educational programming to sixteen communities on the South Shore, and we are excited to tell you about our recent progress since the museum moved to its new location at the Kingston Collection.

 

• Our Name Change - In an effort to better represent the 27 area communities, we have changed our name to become more inclusive. We want our local families and businesses to know this is their museum, their local resource for exciting and educational programming and play.! !

 

• We are more than halfway to meeting our Mount Rushmore Exhibit Fundraising Goal! Our children will learn about our presidents and our National Parks while climbing and sliding and playing. Future exhibits will introduce children to the Mississippi Mission, our water exhibit, and Glacier Getaway, our infant/toddler structure. 

 

• The community is embracing the SSCM: our social media sites have more than 6,500 followers. Memberships and birthday parties bring in 500 children every month. We have exciting programming in 16 communities and sponsoring partnerships with Clean Harbors and Plymouth Macaroni Kid, to name a couple. 

 

• We work with local school curriculum departments to provide an educational supplement to student learning; we are also a resource for Massachusetts Stem Network and the Brain Building in Progress Initiative.  We are growing, but we still have a long way to go! The goals of our current fundraising campaign include reaching our Mount Rushmore Fundraising Goal, making our website more accessible and user friendly to families, and making our space more inviting for our families.  Please review our Sponsorship Levels and help us provide a fun and educational destination for our community’s youngest members.
